When to Use !important?

You can mark your style definitions with !important to take it in user even if there’s an overwriting rule below it.
In the example below, background-color:blue will be used definitely because we marked it with !important, even when there’s another background-color defined below it.


You can use !important is in cases where you want to force a style without something overwriting it.

background-color:blue !important;
}
